Pongal is a festival of peace, prosperity, and joy. It is a harvest festival, also known as the farmers' festival, as it marks the importance of a good harvest season and natural resources. As per some Sanskrit scholars, Pongal dates back to the Chola period.We enjoyed a lot and ate pongal.
